Your Sun, Moon, and Rising are the front door of your chart.

The Sun is your core vitality, the radiance you are growing into – and in shadow, the ego-mask that bends or distorts… until it is claimed.

The Moon is your instinctual body, your emotional pulse – and in shadow, the loops and moods that keep you small… until you learn to alchemise the energy.

The Rising is your mask of first impressions – which can protect or conceal who you really are… until it becomes an authentic doorway.

This is what most people know as their ‘Big Three.’ But I don’t stop there… because beneath the surface is the engine, where the hidden machinery of the psyche is running, and the archetypal forces that shape your life: how you love, fight, and express yourself; where you’re called to grow; and the places where you’re tested and transformed.

Here, we look at the hidden wounds that carry medicine, the shocks here to liberate, and the underworld fires that want to strip you back to your raw, innate power. And at the heart of it all is your thread of destiny – the compass guiding you through choice-points of contraction and expansion.

There are asteroids too, and minor bodies, that are beginning to speak more loudly both in our psyches and in our culture – carrying tiny doorways into new ways of being as we continue to evolve.

But, although we are made up of everything in the Universe, not everything in the sky will be equally loud in your chart. Some placements are subtle whispers; others are so strong, you can almost smell them…

And these are the ones we’ll be zooming into – the insistent ones who demand to speak, and the ones who have a story to tell.
